We are seeking a professional to fill the position of Associate Global Director of Engineering and Industrial Project Development to lead projects in the Soft®, Hard®, Fleet®, and Technology® service divisions.

Responsibilities(54)

  • Direct and manage the Soft®, Hard®, Fleet®, and Technology® service lines.
  • Design and develop the business model of the industrial service lines.
  • Manage and develop the areas of engineering, consulting, IPCI projects, industrial assemblies, management of asset maintenance in industrial areas or complex facilities (refineries, industrial plants, oil fields, and mines), packaging lines, industrial packing plants, manufacturing of equipment, processing plants, and treatment of water, gas, and oil.
  • Direct the development and optimization of reservoirs in oil fields and mines (Flowback, Artificial Lift, Flowback-Gas®, and Outflow-Gas®).
  • Develop all phases of the project: Visualization, Conceptualization, Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering, Procurement, and Civil, Naval, and Industrial Construction (pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of surface facilities). Industrial assemblies.
  • Manage the lines of Operational Maintenance Services and Production Assistance (Preventive, Corrective Maintenance, Plant Shutdowns, and Major Maintenance).
  • Administer Reliability, Maintenance, and technology engineering projects for the management of physical assets and industrial facilities. (RME - CMMS for EAM - RME-TPM).
  • Propose and develop special projects and business strategies in the Hard® areas: major maintenance, shipbuilding and civil, industrial, installation of computerized maintenance systems based on artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).

  • Direct and develop projects for the treatment and dehydration of heavy, extra heavy crude, natural gas, and water for the optimization of resources; based on the protection of ecosystems and energy saving.
  • Manage artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technology projects for maintenance management.
  • Review cleaning and sanitation programs for residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
  • Supervise the management of turnkey projects for asset maintenance management in all types of facilities through RME.
  • Provide comprehensive engineering solutions for oil, water, and gas projects to our clients.
  • Develop programs for equipment maintenance inspection and control (rotating and static).
  • Direct the export, import, and marketing activities of our products and services together with the Executive Director.
  • Prepare annual investment, business, and sales plans.
  • Ensure the protection, assurance, and growth of sales.
  • Perform calculations of metric computations, critical route of projects, and cost engineering.
  • Plan and structure the operations budget of the projects to be executed and in execution.
  • Optimize and manage projects and contracts.
  • Develop new technologies and businesses for all sectors of the Corporation.
  • Apply negotiation skills to close agreements in favor of the corporation.
  • Review and approve work plans for project execution.
  • Develop strategic plans for the prevention and/or resolution of incidents.
  • Administer management’s budget.
  • Monitor the fulfillment and attainment of objectives and goals.
  • Evaluate and report financial risks and perform profitability analysis of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with labor conditions in each of the projects.
  • Attend events relevant to the Corporation, to promote our presence in the market and increase contacts.
  • Ensure the maximization of the Corporation’s profits.
  • Develop, jointly with the Executive Director, brands, patents, and new technologies.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the information about the projects in development.
  • Create investment programs of the resources available to the company.
  • Search for investment sources and create investment feasibility and return plans.
  • Prepare and present financing options for project execution.
  • Manage the proper functioning of the fleet line in the areas of logistics and supplies for the delivery of goods and services, logistics of asset and resource mobilization, maintenance for the transport and distribution fleet.
  • Attend board and management meetings.
  • Promote corporate identity.
  • Hold informational, team-building, and development meetings with the staff of each project.
  • Monitor the performance of the personnel to inform the Human Resources department of the performance of the work team.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve objectives.
  • Decision making.
  • Actively participate in the staff recruitment and selection processes for staff who will report to you.
  • Ensure career development for yourself and the staff you supervise.
  • Reports to: the Executive Director.
  • Promote and carry out training for personnel under their responsibility.
  • Advise the director in the decision-making process.
  • Design instruments for the measurement of inspection and maintenance control.
  • Promote the use of occupational safety and hygiene equipment.
  • Manage high-performance work teams, technical engineering rooms, and laboratories.
  • Analyze metrics, projections, technical-economic feasibility studies; monitor team tasks and projects in execution.
  • Detect deviations, apply preventive and corrective actions to control processes.
  • Direct and enforce the company’s HSE policies.
  • Have extensive experience in Flowback, Artificial Lift, Flowback-Gas®, and Outflow-Gas®.

Requirements

Education
Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s degree in Maintenance Management and Project Engineering
Experience
Minimum of 20 years in mega engineering projects, facilities engineering, reliability engineering, industrial maintenance, and artificial intelligence
Languages
English / Spanish (essential)

Basic qualifications (9)

  • Proven experience in the management of megaprojects, projects in the area of oil, gas, water, and energy.
  • Command of national and international laws, policies, regulations, and safety standards related to economic activity.
  • Extensive experience in supervising operational and/or administrative personnel.
  • Articulate communicator; results-oriented, proactive, visionary, resilient, responsive, and highly analytical, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality standards (ISO).
  • Experience in interpreting financial information and managing budgets.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Effective communication.
