We are looking for Maintenance Engineers in the Houston, Texas, United States area. This role leads predictive engineering and promotes high-impact initiatives by managing and developing best practices in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM). Techniques include: lubricating oil testing and analysis (kinematic viscosity); infrared thermography (hot spots); fiberscope/borescope inspection (wear on internal elements); mechanical alignment and balancing (friction reduction); vibration analysis (reduction of friction, noise, and wear); and non-destructive testing on piping, pipelines, and metal structures: Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT). Also: management of maintenance software and hardware (CMMS/EAM), from data capture and system loading to developing maintenance plans and programs and supervising field technical staff; cost reduction and life extension of rotating and static equipment; and management of maintenance performance indicators. A proven track record of solid leadership, vision, and technical expertise in predictive maintenance for rotating and static equipment in industrial plants and facilities is essential, along with strategic thinking and an exceptional ability to drive team results.
Responsibilities(8)
- Data capture and collection of technical information. Field engineering.
- Development and execution of tests and generation of technical reports of Preventive Engineering.
- Development of predictive maintenance programs and activities and supervision of technical personnel.
- Schedule and supervise the procurement and planning of materials, spare parts, and equipment by following up on the processes.
- Reduce maintenance costs with the technologies and the development of predictive maintenance engineering to optimize the budget of our customers.
- Operation and management of CMMS/EAM maintenance software; control of maintenance management indicators.
- Execute the work in the field and ensure compliance with the activities.
- Ability to operate equipment and predictive maintenance engineering tools for field work.
Requirements
- Languages
- English / Spanish
Basic qualifications (10)
- Professional in engineering or a related field (Maintenance, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronic, Metallurgical).
- Experience in similar positions (minimum 2 years).
- Level 1, 2, and 3 certification in the technology areas mentioned.
- Coordinate work teams.
- Supplier management and evaluation.
- Handling of internal and external audits.
- Customer service orientation.
- Schedule availability.
